Mitchells is a graduate of the Business School at the University of Texas in Austin. He is a third-generation real estate developer with 25 years’ experience in real estate development in Florida and Texas. He is co-founder of Kalo Real Estate Development in Orlando and MK Developments and Marbella Development in Austin. Mitchell brings both vision and value-added engineering to development projects. His expertise has driven the creation of many significant single-family, multi-family, commercial, and real estate developments in Florida and Texas.
Jan Davis Kalogridis Chief Financial Officer
Jan attended the University of Texas in Austin and got her start in the financial world at the accounting firm of Peat, Marwick, Mitchell, where she was an assistant in the tax department. She and Mitchell Kalogridis started a medical products company, Dynasty Medical, and later, ProtectAide, Inc., one of the leading manufacturers of disposable medical devices and medical garments. In 1997, Jan and Mitchell sold the company and began working in real estate development in Florida and Austin. Currently, as CFO, Jan manages all financial aspects of MK Developments and other Kalogridis-affiliated companies.
Michele Perry Senior Vice President, Operations
Michele graduated from Del Mar College in Corpus Christi with a degree in computer science and business/marketing. She worked at a law firm in Sinton, Texas, for several years, managing client estates, probates and legal proceedings. Michele ultimately discovered her passion, project management, in critical leadership positions with ProtectAide and in environmental engineering. She has more than 30 years of project management experience and lends her expertise to MK Developments & affiliates, where she manages all operations, including overseeing the company’s self-storage operations, one of the largest facilities in the Southeast, as well as several multi-family and residential operations.
Wade Kalogridis Director of Operations Florida
Wade Kalogridis, a third generation Floridian, attended high school and college in Central Florida. After graduating college in 1981, he got his real estate license and soon obtained his Brokers License. Wade has owned his own real estate business, “Southern Properties,” for over 30 years and has extensive experience and knowledge of the real estate market in Central Florida. In addition to owning his own Real estate Brokerage Firm, Wade joined MK Developments in 2005 as Director of Florida Operations.
Marilyn Sanchez Director of Self-Storage Development & Operations
After finishing school in Puerto Rico, Marilyn and her family moved to central Florida and became part of MK Developments’ self-storage management team. For the past 15 years, Marilyn has been instrumental in the direction of development, operations, and management for all self-storage operations.
Tre’ Barry Director of Marker 37 Marina
and Sunset Island
Tre’ comes to the MK Developments family of companies after spending the last 6 years in a professional sales and management role. He has helped coach and lead teams of professionals across the US. Tre’ grew up in the Northeast, in Wilmington, Delaware, spending his summers at the beaches. Tre’ knew his calling was on the water. Following his high school graduation in June of 2001, he enlisted into the U.S. Navy. He spent over ten years in the Navy, where he became a 2nd class Boatswain’s Mate, operating nearly every watercraft in the Navy. He was stationed on board the USS Harry S. Truman from 2003-2008, participating in multiple combat deployments and humanitarian relief operations. After leaving the USS Truman in June of 2008, he transferred to the Navy Recruiting District. After his Honorable Active Duty Navy career, he decided to move closer to family in Central Texas, where he eventually met and married the love of his Life, Stephanie. Upon accepting the Directorship to manage the Marker 37 marina and Sunset Island, Tre’ and Stephanie purchased a home and moved to North Padre Island.
